Our Story
It all started in 2017 with a bright young business student named Ellen, a kitchen bench in beautiful Motueka, and a simple idea, that good skincare shouldn’t be complicated (or full of things you can’t pronounce).
Ellen, with the help of her mum Anne built Scrub Products with heart, hustle, and a whole lot of coffee grinds. What began as a small handmade skincare brand quickly became a local favourite, loved for its natural ingredients, ethical sourcing, and no-fuss glow.
Fast forwardto 2025, and Scrub has found its next chapter, in the hands of two cousins who couldn’t resist the charm (and potential) of this little kiwi brand. One of us comes from a finance background (numbers and spreadsheets are kind of our thing), and the other is a pharmacist with a passion for skin health and natural formulations. Together, we’re here to keep the essence of Scrub alive.
Honest, handmade, and full of care, while adding a fresh dose of innovation and fun. We’re all about simple, effective skincare that does what it says it will. Our mission is to keep things natural, ethical, and as sustainable as possible while creating products that make your skin happy.
